Founded in 2005, Zhejiang Gold Kropn Biotechnology Co., Ltd. is a professional manufacturer specializing in the modular production of functional small-molecule pectins. Our product range includes modified citrus pectin, naturally fermented calcium propionate, phosphatidylserine, pyrroloquinoline quinone, serine, HM pectin, LM pectin, and L-alanine. With over 20 years of industry experience, we understand our customers' needs and provide comprehensive, one-stop supply chain solutions.

Our factory

 

Our factory features a Class 100,000 GMP-compliant production facility for the extraction, concentration, drying, and packaging of health foods, with an annual production capacity of 120 tons of MCP. This state-of-the-art production line ensures the high-quality manufacture of MCP. Our team, composed of more than 10 PhD professionals and holding over 14 national invention patents, provides strong technical support to overcome product development challenges.

Raw Material Sourcing & Traceability

Our MCP is made from non-GMO, pesticide-free citrus peels, with complete traceability for each batch. Raw materials are rigorously tested for heavy metals (Pb, Hg, Cd, As) and mycotoxins, ensuring only the safest and highest-quality ingredients enter production.

Standardized Production Process

We employ enzyme and acid hydrolysis techniques to control the molecular weight between 3–13 kDa, optimizing solubility and bioactivity. Production follows strict temperature, pH, and time controls, and operates under ISO 22000, HACCP, and GMP standards for consistent, reliable results.

Physicochemical Quality Control

Each batch is carefully monitored for appearance, solubility, pectin content (≥65%), galacturonic acid content (≥70%), pH, viscosity, and other critical parameters. This ensures the product is uniform, fully soluble, and meets both food and pharmaceutical grade requirements.

Microbiological Safety

MCP undergoes rigorous microbiological testing, including total plate count (≤1,000 cfu/g), yeast and mold (≤100 cfu/g), and confirmation of the absence of pathogens such as Salmonella, E. coli, and Staphylococcus aureus. Endotoxin levels are strictly controlled to meet pharmaceutical-grade standards.

Functional Verification & Stability

The biological activity, such as Galectin-3 inhibition, is validated by third-party laboratories. Accelerated stability tests (40℃, 75% RH, 90 days) confirm the product maintains quality over 24–36 months under normal storage. This ensures MCP is safe, reliable, and consistent for nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, and functional food applications.
